// Jan 30, 2026

As we close out January, we're reflecting on a milestone month for K-Dense. Thank you to our early users for your support and feedback! This week's updates:

>What's New

You spoke, and we listened. Not knowing how much a request might cost was frustrating. Each effort level now has a capped maximum cost per request, so you always know the most you will pay without compromising quality. Fast mode is still completely free for a limited time.

>Blog: OpenAI Prism vs. K-Dense Web

OpenAI just announced the launch of Prism, a web-based LaTeX workspace.

In this week's blog, we highlight the key differences in the platforms, as well as how users can harness the power of both tools in their workflows.

The tl;dr? Prism helps you write faster; K-Dense helps you research faster.

Check out the full write-up on our blog.

Bonus: See our team member Orion Li's 1-minute tutorial on how to one-click transfer your K-Dense Web project into Prism.

>Use Case of the Week

K-Dense enables analysis at a scale no human team can match.

This week, we take a look at how K-Dense can compress drug development timelines by 12-24 months by autonomously synthesizing evidence across millions of publications, genetic databases, and experimental datasets.
